ReUseWaste enters the conference scene!

Several of the ReUseWaste fellows made their first conference presentations at the recent RAMIRAN conference held in Versailles in June. Only having commenced their projects less than 9 months ago, four fellows had managed to complete enough research to submit an abstracts several months ago and have posters ready for the conference:

· O. Popovic, F. Gioelli, E. Dinuccio & P. Balsari: Effect of different slur-ry pretreatments on mechanical separation methods efficiency: preliminary results. See paper

· Regueiro Carrera, J. Coutinho, D. Fangueiro. Comparison of different approaches for ammonia emissions minimization by acidification of dairy and pig slurries. See paper 

· M.S. Camilleri-Rumbau, B. Norddahl, A.K. Nielsen, K.V. Christensen, L.F. Søtoft, Comparative techno-economical study between membrane technology systems for obtaining concentrated fertilizers from biogas plant effluents. See paper

· R. Subedi, C. Kammann, S. Pelissetti, D. Sacco, C. Grignani, S. Monaco. Use of biochar and hydrochar to reduce ammonia emissions from soils fertilized with pig slurry. See paper
